They've also done some great videos.  I already posted the video for 
the new album's first single, "Civil Twilight":

Also, the Weakerthans took part in a tribute album to the Rheostatics 
(great, hugely influential Canadian band who broke up earlier this 
year), which is available only as a digital download from Zunior.com. 
Their cover of "Bad Time To Be Poor" smacks strongly of another of 
Winnipeg's favorite sons, Neil Young, a la "Like A Hurricane":
