I'm really enjoying Patti Boyd's autobiography "Wonderful Tonight"
(George Harrison, Eric Clapton and Me). I'm only half way through it,
but I can already recommend it. I think it would make a great Christmas
present. Anyone else read it? Don't spoil the end for me! (I hope she's
living happily ever after).
I saw Myracle Belly open for Fictionplane last Friday night in Ocean
City, Maryland and they were just swell! It was fun seeing those guys
together (again, sorta). Joe Sumner's little trio put on fine show also.
I got a chance to chat and hang out with him and his band a bit and they
certainly seem to be very likeable, personable and gracious fellows.
They certainly do bring the rock. It was LOUD. Joe's dad was not in
attendance, though part of their touring "family" was on hand. I
attempted to sell some merchandise, but mostly I just drank free beer
and chatted up the O.C. girls.
