Very interesting stuff, Judith.
Lotsa old Canadian rockers spawning great offspring these days. Folk icon Brent Titcomb's son Liam is the next big deal here in Toronto. A more lively Ron Sexsmith type with shades of Brit-pop going on. He smoked at an all-star tribute to John Lennon this past Sunday night (Murray McLauchlan, Stephen Fearing of Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, Gowan, Greg Godovitz, members of the Carpet Frogs, Sexsmith's guitarist Tim Bovaconti). Liam did a dead-on version of "Across The Universe".
