Top 10 albums of 2007
It's been a surprisingly good year for quality pop.
In no particular order of greatness
Silverchair - Young Modern
Tara Busch - Pilfershire Lane
Genius, genius, genius I love this album. It's Kate Bush playing with
all of Brian Wilson's toys on really bad drugs. Tara has such a
beautiful voice it's almost illegal.
Automat - Automat.
Nothing but great songs.
B.C Camplight - Blink Of A Nihilist
Blonde Redhead - 23
This album is way up there just because of the crushing genius of SW
Fields - Everything Last Winter
The Nines - Gran Jukle's Field
Jason Falkner - I'm OK... You're Okay
Oceansize - Frames
Only just come out but an amazing album that Radiohead and Rush should
take notes from
The Missing Link/World Waits - Jeremy Enigk
bubbling under Paul McCartney - Memory Almost Full
Big disappointments
The Hoosiers
Rooney
Switches
Re-issues of the year
Genesis re-masters
Chris Squire Fish Out Of Water
The Move - back catalogue
Looking forward to
Anything from Bleu
The Feeling album II
