A few weeks ago, I downloaded about a dozen tunes, then didn't go back to
check them for a few days. When I did, the files were "empty" (no bits)
though the filenames looked okay. Went back to the site, redownloaded the
same tunes, no problem with them.

I know they've been having issues with their newish "download manager," now
called "eMusic Remote."  Hope they work that out.
