Agree on The Clientele and Nevers' production, but is still may like Strange Geometry just a little but more.  Highly recommended if God Save is the first you've heard them.

Personally, I think it's a big step up from their previous albums, 
which haven't don't much for me. In my case, I think having Mark 
Nevers from Lambchop produce the album was a coup: he gives it the 
Lambchop sound, which I adore. Lots of space, subtle echo, some 
strings, some pedal steel, that sort of thing.
