I am digging, digging, digging this album!  But I don't hear either of those artists here at all; the music is kind of 60s BritPop played through the prism of an AmerIndie band.  (Holy shit, that sounds pretentious!)  It's a teriffic record, it rocks, it rolls, don't expect Laura Nyro and you'll love it.  :-)
