 This is the one I have. An older model about 4 years old my daughter uses,
and the latest model that I use. I have used them around town, on long trips
to Florida and points in between and have had no problems. 
 Yes, every once in awhile I might have to find a new station, but with 
3 kids in the car while we travel I don't find a little static in the music
that much of a hassle.
