I don't agree that Clayton should be better than most of the musicians
on this list. I think that's a slight to many of talented folks here.
But I will say he should be significantly better than me. He's not. And
I suck.

Maybe more and direct to the point is that I feel Clayton, who occupies
a seat in one of the biggest bands in the world, should have a capacity
and talent greater than my own. I'm not a braggart where performance is
concerned (believe me, I've made my fare share of live flubs). But when
I can play better than the guy who's making millions of dollars more
than me per year I can't help but have disdain for his abilities. He
should be a better player than most of the musicians on this list. And
he's not even that.
