And I hated Springsteen growing up. The hype was deafening. It just 
turned me off. 
 As I got older and less concerned about what people thought, or 
wanting to be different I gave him a closer listen. I found the 
references to places I knew very well pretty cool and nostalgic. 
 I now think his older albums up to The River are just brilliant. 
After that, spotty with some good to great songs. So much is personal
perspective really.
