See, I actually don't even like BLACK FOLIAGE all that much. I think
that album is pretty much where that whole scene disappeared up its
own arse, actually: it's really just three or four musical motifs
recombined and recontextualized over and over again. Conceptually
interesting, sure, but it's just not as musically compelling as the
earlier records. It was really no wonder they split up after.
