Okay, so here's the Peter Gabriel entry:
Peter Gabriel
Peter Gabriel 4 (1982)
Although it contains the hit single Shock the Monkey, Gabriel's fourth solo album has been overshadowed by his third, the mega-selling So. But it is a pivotal release, marking his first foray into funky world-music grooves, which he has never explored with more energy than he does here.
A few things at issue -- it was indeed his fourth album, but it was titled Security. And So followed Security as his fifth album. I can't even imagine what other gaffes there may be in the 999 other entries.
That said, one thing I admire about the list is its inclusiveness and breadth, even if the choices may not be up everyone's proverbial street. It's certainly British in that regard.
