Just snagged this based on the chatter here, and it is a FABULOUS record. It'll knock you on the first listen.. and then it gets better. Hope I get a chance to see her live.
Man, it's a girl group renaissance out there right now; Dusty Springfield is smiling somewhere.

What an incredible voice. The music reminds me
of a cross between Ed Harcourt and Gemma Hayes.
Her voice stands alone. Definetly will be
