I was listening to one of Joe Fields' SOTT comps this morning when
"Teenarama" came on. Now, that's one of my favorite songs from one of my
favorite bands ever, and I even met it's co-writer John Wicks once but
neglected to ask him about this lyric:

Teenarama/
Is what you're givin' me/
Teenarama/
Injections in the knee

WTF? What does this lyric mean? Injections of what-- cortisone? Heroin?
Whose knee? Is it a penicillin/VD reference? Or what?

I wonder if I'm the only one who finds this a headscratcher, even after 28
years.

Drew
