Hi everyone,

If I rememeber the story correctly, it was a female DJ in Ohio or somewhere
in the mid west who broke rush by playing them over and over again on her
radio show and she was the first to do that. Before that, they had very
little radio exposure and were entirely unknown in the U.S.

Mike V.

I remember that it was Donna Halper from WMMS around 1973 or 4, the Buzzard,
at the time. I could swear it was Betty Korvin, but at the time I was 18,
just having my first "legal" beer, so who knows...They played the hell out
of Finding My Way and Working Man - opinion was split in town - many thought
they were a bad Led Zep imitation, while others, myself included, liked the
volume and melodies in their tunes. They did a show around that time at the
Cleveland Agora, which I've found copies of, in which they even covered a
Beatles tune! Who would'a know'd? Eh?
