Nielsen has recently announced plans to construct "Rick's Place"....a Hyatt hotel/restaurant/guitar museum complex in his hometown of Rockford Illinois.
Check out the link above for some conceptual renderings...plus a look at some of his guitar collection.
The project seems to be progressing, as several local taxing bodies have already agreed to provide tax abatements (why can't I get those?). He hopes to break ground in November.
