And Rodeo are one of the few Canadian acts in this generation to be 'career'
oriented...they've been kicking since 1983.
While hosting a CD release party for the late Keith Whittaker (of The
Demics) I got into a discussion with Blue Rodeo's Greg Keelor and first
drummer Cleave Anderson about Cuddy & Keelor's first punk band The Hi-Fi's.
It appears there's more than 30 recorded songs sitting in the can. Greg's
looking for one more session tape and they want to discuss releasing the
stuff. I've made the offer to do this if their label, Warner, isn't
interested.
