And may I claim:
Beware of ANY biographies
(especially "authorized" ;-)
whose authors have built-in loyalties
(eg: Mark Lewisohn and Geoff Emerick,
both long on the McCartney payroll)
and/or self-preservation
(or should I say self-mythology)
as a primary agenda
(compare, f'rinstance,
the original cut of that Beatles Anthology
vs. the post-Beatle-viewed version
they ultimately released).
In this same vein,
I only hope the forthcoming Stones and Harrison documentaries
by Martin Scorsese
aren't as history- and fact-bending as, say,
"No Direction Home,"
