Asexuals/Doughboys - especially Dish and Happy Accidents respectively.
 Asexuals fit in well with the Minneapolis bands that were big around
the same time, and they came to town to play - even though the
Replacements only lived twelve hours away and they were across the
country in Montreal. Happy Accidents, to me, is the great 90's
punk/pop album - the best from a group that included Mega City 4,
Hard-Ons, All and the like. And it has my favorite use of a movie
sound bite - using a clip from Blue Velvet.

D.O.A./Teenage Head - the great Canadian punk band and the great
Canadian party band.

Sloan - because they effortlessly crank out the hits. And if they
keep going, I don't think anyone will ever touch in the (catalog size
* average quality) department.

The Kings - 'cuz they gave us Canada's great new wave hit.

Michel Pagliaro - for my favorite Canadian single of all time -
'Lovin' You Ain't Easy'

Off the top of my head on a Sunday morning in my parents house waiting
for everyone else to wake up...
