Subject Building the perfect Music Mix for my 1-year old - redux

Haven't seen all the responses to my initial e-mail,
and perhaps there weren't a lot, but I do appreciate
the feedback - keep it comin', Audities folk.

For the person(s) who recommended Jason's 'Bedtime
with the Beatles' disc, bravo. I did play that a lot
after Bella was born, especially overnight when she
was trying to sleep (helped Daddy out, that's for
sure). However, at this point, I'm noticing that with
certain songs, she's responding by moving back and
forth in a sitting position, eyes totally focused on
where the music's coming from. That new commercial
with the Badfinger cover came on the telly tonight
while I was feeding her, and she started groovin' to
it - another good sign! But then, the beat pattern was
similar to Tommy Roe's 'Dizzy,' which started this
whole thread.

So now, I'm looking for songs that groove similarly.
Again, keep those ideas coming if you've got any, and
I'll put 'em with the Nick Lowe suggestion (nice one!)
to build a mix that'll keep my newly 1-year old
dancin' in her seat.

Thanks a bunch,
Bill
