I'd recommend the book. It's a fun (and kinda sad) story about Rob's
first wife Renee. Music of the late 80s and early 90s provides the
backdrop for a love story.

Subject: Love Is a Mix Tape (eMusic Audiobooks)

Hey all, one of the new developments over at eMusic is audiobooks and I
noticed this title:

Love Is a Mix Tape: Life and Loss, One Song at a Time by Rob Sheffield
who apparently used to write for Option magazine.

Does anyone know the book? It's downloadable as a freebie, but you need
eMusic's new Emusic Remote software.

Speaking of which, is anyone else having problems with the new software?
I've downloaded it to TWO computers that both use Windows XP, and the
program crashes on both. Since installed I have been unable to download
at all. I've got a query into eMusic customer service but no word yet. I
was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

Unfortunately eMusic will FORCE you to download the new software the
next time you use the service and it wipes out the previous manager, of
course.
It's like they shoot themselves in one foot and cut off the other for
good measure.
