FINALLY got my package today from a vendor who shall remain nameless
(although if they are as slow at reading the email as they are at
shipping...) and man, they sound great. I realize that most of the vocal
harmonies are coming from the additional musicians, but so what? Eric is
hitting the notes, and Sam Kinison...er, Wally Bryson still plays some sweet
guitar. Absolutely LOVE the visual when "Overnight Sensation" goes into the
last refrain...I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it.
I really wish the full DVD were more reaonably priced, but I'm glad that the
maniacal fans got the chance to drop the coin for it. I must admit there are
a couple of artists for whom I probably would have ponied up $100 for a
comparable package of goodies. Maybe.
