Store Clerk: "Why, is it scratched?"
Mike: "No. no. Plays perfectly fine."
Store Clerk: "Was it a gift that you already had a copy of?"
Mike: "No. I bought this with my own money."
Store Clerk: "So why are you returning it?"
Mike: "I was promised melody and hooks. It contains neither of these things."
Store Clerk: "I'm not sure what that is, sir. You may have to talk to the
manufacturer and see if they can't replace those things for you."
LOL! Jaimie you crack me up. That had me giggling for about three minutes.
When I used to work in a record store, the management's policy was if a customer didn't like the album...we'd actually let them trade for another album. Interestingly enough...people rarely took us up on this (even with those blank Maxell 90 minute cassettes for sale on the counter).
