1970's UK hard rock/glam type act, led by Scottish born Mr. Harvey. They
have interesting covers tossed over many of their early LP's, including
"Tomorrow Belongs to Me" and "The Impossible Dream".
If you want to check them out, stay with the early stuff such as Framed,
Next, The Impossible Dream, and Tomorrow Belongs to Me (probably working
backwards). I loved them at the time, and they still see rotation on my mp3
player. Hard rock guitar based, but with a healthy dose of melody, story
telling ("The Tale of the Giant Stoneater"), and a theatrical flair.
I remember in the early/mid 70's when I first discovered SAHB - jeez, the
singer was 40 years old at the time!! And he was playing rock music!! How
cool! Sure, like Pete Townsend would still be doing that when he was 40.
