Hi Robert!
Glad you're coming to my town, hope you enjoy it!
The first place you must go is Escridiscos, the best record store i know.
The adress is Navas de Tolosa 4. It's very near Plaza de Callao, you take
the small street near Rodilla cafeteria (Postigo de San Martín), pass the
old Escridiscos store in the left, and take 1st sreet to the right. The
owners, Pepe and Ines, and assistant Monica, are super friendly, and big
music lovers. Tell them I am sending you and I am sure they will treat you
well.
All the 2nd hand and vinyl stores are in that area, so ask in Escridiscos
and they will give you directions. Also to Record Runner, a good R&R and
garage store, near Plaza de Santo Domingo.
As for live shows, check www.popmadid.com/agenda/ for all the info. For the
momen I can recommend you the following:

The Freewheelin' Tornados + Smile at La Pequeña Betty club ( calle Reina 4,
near Gran Vía)
A party held by the Power Pop record company Rock Indiana
