Randy,
When I made that post earlier today I hadn't yet heard the mp3, but since
then I've played it maybe 10 times. I don't recall the song but I'm trying
to zero in on clues (as everyone else who's playing along is doing, I'm
sure). I've tried maybe 10 possible title searches via All Music but I've
still turned up nothing. It might just be the nature of choirs performing
songs, but I can't shake the feeling that there's something very
"gospel-esque" about this song. There were certainly several
gospel-oriented pop musicals during that time frame other than those I've
mentioned, and I remember my high school choir (in 1973) doing several
gospel tunes from musicals.

this!)
