Just curious? Were you at the Fountains of Wayne / Suicide Commandos Concert
last Sunday? I was. I formulated my opinion of the Commandos from the show I
saw at the State Fair. Not some myth that they are supposed to Live up to
from 28 years ago.

Saw Raspberries in Chicago - 2005. I also saw Raspberries back in the day:
circa 1974. It was the 2nd version of the Raspberries band: Starting Over with
Scott McCarl and Michael McBride. Which I prefer to the original line-up.

I highly recommend the recently released: Raspberries - Live on the Sunset
Strip. (Deluxe edition) A 2 CD + 1 DVD bonus of their last Concert in LA -
2005. If you've never saw the band Live? This Concert will put you there!

Um, No I am not saying that all. Nor did I say or intend to imply
that the Commando's are better then The Raspberries. I didn't even
say I didn't like The Raspberries, because I do. A great deal in
fact.

All I was commenting on is you were critical of the Commandos sounding
dated and being stuck in an era. And then you contrasted them with
The Raspberries as an example of a band sounding as fresh as ever
(And for what it's worth, it's not a big deal to me...it's just fine
with me that you think that). I just think that they both are a
product of their time and are dated in a way. Each clearly sounds and
looks to be from another era.
