I'm at the end of the rope in trying to identify this song..the story is
that I am transferring a reel tape of a 1972 high school swing choir concert. I
think the song might be called "right now" because that seems to be the
chorus, and the lyrics are very "Enter the Young" -like. With lyrics like "it's my
time and now i say to you that i'm living so fine and oh so free/right now
yes i'm free/my time has come now i am free right now" it certainly has that
kind of feel. Very driving, and it's the students who do all the instrumental
backing as well.

In fact, the choir does do no less than three Association songs, plus "Make
Me Smile", "Rainy days & Mondays" and even a student take on "Joy" by Apollo
100. It's a pretty good show for the period.

I don't know how to post an mp3 where you can just click and listen, but I
did upload it to fileden.com and you can save it and listen to it.

The first person who can identify this, I'll post $20 bucks to you. There's
gotta be someone out there who knows what this is.
