I always liked the Grape's song "8:05" which was more ballady than psych.
But I'm not sure sitting in a park watching people try to re-live an era
(let alone a musical style) is what I'd want to do with a day. Look at that
Lovefest thingy at Rama a few weeks ago with Country Joe, Eric Burden,
Mountain, Badfinger, The Turtles, et al. By accounts by most of the
attendees, it was either horrible or just plain embarassing.
Props to anyone that still has the want to do this for a living.....but
bigger props to those who know when it's time to hang it up and leave
world's collective memory of you in a good place.
