The incomparable Jellyfish has a song called "Will You Marry Me" which they
performed live but which was never released on any studio album.
You can find it, however, on "Fan Club," the four-disc box set produced by
our esteemed Bruce Brodeen of NotLame fame.
The second part of this song (starting just as Andy yells "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, 8.") would make a perfect proposal tune.
Plus, it's road-tested. I used this song on my wedding video to accompany
footage of me proposing to my future wife! So far, the song's been a lucky
charm for me!!
