I've also run across some real finds at Nice Price Books in Carrboro 
(which is adjacent to Chapel Hill). Although it's nominally a bookshop, 
the last time I was there it had a pretty sizable stock of used CDs.

There are other locations, but the Carrboro one is the only one I know 
anything about.
