Our daughter, Marley, is 12 and is a music sponge. She plays piano and sings, and is open to discovering all kinds of stuff from my collection in addition to her own discoveries (the popular 'tween stuff).
She loves The Beatles, doesn't care for the Stones, but really took to The Kinks - going so far as to borrowing a few discs and putting a couple of their songs on her mp3 player. Love that.
New pop-wise, I know I've mentioned before that she likes Cloud Eleven. She also likes Fountains of Wayne and Cliff Hillis (of course).
Her latest passion? The Monkees. Loves the tunes, really really loves the TV show.
