Well, Buffalo Springfield were 2/5th's Canadian (Neil Young & Bruce Palmer),
while The Band was 4/5ths....which has ALWAYS qualified them as a Canadian
act noted for nothing if not nearly inventing 'Americana'. The irony was not
lost on the guys from Southern Ontario. Levon, the American in the band,
lives HERE now....while Robbie Robertson went Hollywood many years ago.
Garth Hudson still resides in the Hamilton/Ancaster area of Lake Ontario.
