Subject Andrew Gold advice?

I just picked up Gold's "Whirlwind" album and really enjoyed it.

I'm aware of his production role with Linda Rondstat, his work with Wax, Bryndle and of course "Lonely Boy" but was wondering if anyone had advice on where to go to next in his music. 

What's your opinion of the essential Gold albums?

I always thought of him as Cali rock but Whirlwind has a lot of Powerpop touches. At least it's not a million miles away.
