Subject Sources for cheap cassettes

Can anyone recommend a source for bulk audio cassettes? I mean good
old-fashioned analog Compact Cassettes?

I'm rehabilitating a large pile of dusty and deteriorating old tapes by
transplanting them into new cassette shells. These recordings are
irreplacable, so even though I only need to play each one once (so I can
record it digitally), I want to preserve the originals.

I haven't been able to find a source for empty cassette shells, so I
figure my best bet is to just buy cheap blank cassettes and reuse the
shells. For obvious reasons, I need cassettes that are assembled using
screws rather than glue. But for equally obvious reasons, I don't care
about the quality of the tape they contain. (In fact, they need to be
Type I cassettes.) I probably need between 50 and 100.

Any suggestions?
