two things come immediately to mind:
Finding the CD version of Baroque Hoedown/16 Tambourines in Gloucester MA, Mystery Train, used section for probably no more than $6. When I brought it to the counter the guy was incredulous that I found it in there and I think was pissed at whoever did the sorting/pricing of that lot.
Finding the elusive "Blue Thumb Cassette" version of The Candy Butchers unreleased album in the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Wilmington DE for $1.49. Boy was I psyched that day.
And the time that I found a vintage Heywood Wakefield butterfly extension table for $50 in a thrift store in Milford DE. CH will attest that I was nearly hyperventilating as I handed over the cash. I know weâre talking music, but still, that adrenaline rush canât be found on eBay!
