I'll admit to liking both The Eagles and McCartney!
I have to say though, that except for the track "The
Girl From Yesterday" on "Hell Freezes Over", none of
their post reunion studio tracks have hit me the way
almost anything from "On The Border" or "Hotel
California" did.
I guess that if I can dig McCartney while realizing
he'll never come close to his "Revolver"-era work, I
can give The Eagles a spin though. I hope whatever
track(s) Joe Walsh has on it is closer to the lovely
"Pretty Maids All In a Row", rather than his jokeier
stuff....and anything that keeps Glenn Frey from
putting out solo albums can't be a bad thing, right?
(though I will admit to digging his first solo
LP...better then Henley's solo debut I think).
