Got to call bullshit on that one. Physical Graffiti #1, with Houses of the Holy a close second. Page's work on 'Song Remains the Same' is stupendous, and ‘Over the Hills and Far Away’ will be a radio favorite after we’re all dead and gone. I’ll always take ‘The Crunge’ over ‘Dazed and Confused’ (wake me when it’s over…yawn). 'The Ocean' is a fantastic finale.

Hell, I’ll take In Through the Out Door over the first one. They’re completely seasoned, confident, and Plant is in great voice. And you get the rare occasion of JP Jones making a tremendous contribution (in effect, being the band’s MD) while Page recovered from his heroin addiction. If you look at the credits, Plant didn’t write a note on LZ I.

ITTOD is fantastic and vastly under rated album.

Where’s that confounded bridge??
Rob
