Of all the artists I've been introduced to in the last 7 or 8 years (thanks Pat) I find Josh Rouse's voice to be "like buttah". It has some sort of silky smooth quality that I find very appealing. It's hard to describe, but it resonates with me and makes me smile. And it's "wife approved" music to my musically speaking "stuck-in-the-70's" wife (Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Eagles, etc.).

Well, it's the first album he's done in a while that's not a big
stylistic departure from the one before. But since the one before,
SUBTITULO (not counting the EP he did under another name with his
girlfriend) is my favorite thing he's yet done, I'm not complaining.
