Didn't Bernie Taupin write those lyrics?

Subject: Openly Elton

Speaking of the Batty Man (Elton),

While I agree with most all the posts on here, I do have to give credit to
Elton for being one of the first openly gay pop stars. I mean, who can't see

or hear gay references of "Rocket Man" and "Bennie and the Jets"? I mean,
when I think about it now it was so obvious that I can't believe I did not
catch on back then to those lyrics!

Above all, I commend him for allowing some of the other openly gay bands to
come out and be themselves..like Spandau Ballet, Frisbee, Marroon 5 and of
course, Wilco.

So, for that reason..I applaud Elton

gabriel
