I can't comment on the EJ article yet since I didn't read the whole thing but implications that his music has been bad for a long time are a bit far fetched. EJ himself has admitted to a quality control issue. It happens to a lot of artist and it happens to people in any job from time to time. But whether people like his recent work or not, there is no way it stinks and I'd go so far as to say that he's got his quality control monitor firmly in place. What I respect about him is that he is at least aware that he put out some crap and he's honest about it and he is doing his best to control it. Just because we don't like something does mean its bad.
