I kinda liked the Eagles when Meisner and Leadon were in the group --
they had a bit more authentic country-bluegrass (Leadon's influence),
and even had a dash of pop....Meisner's song "Is It True?" could have
been a Badfinger song -- check it out on their On The Border album -- 
I'd think a lot of people on this Audities list would like this song...and
probably wouldn't recognize it as the Eagles if they didn't know who
did the song.
