We went through the same thing when we were redoing our house a few
months back. I took about 500+ albums that had little or no value and
put them up on Craigslist as a "come and get 'em" offer and was
fending off people with sharp sticks. A guy came by a few hours
later, took them away and saved me from hauling them to the thrift
store. After that I took the 1000 or so records that had some value
but not worth the time or effort to shoot them, grade them and put
them up in lots on eBay and sold them at our garage sale for 50 cents
each. Two buyers came and between them bought all 1000.
Everything else I haven't sold is now sitting in my closet waiting to
be put into lots and sold on eBay or at the next show I do.
