Hi everyone,

I think that Shania (Eileen) Twain was a major role model for Avril and had
even formed a friendship with Avril and was guiding her along in her career,
was she not? Avril may have either been opening for Shania or at least she
had some contact with Shania.

Someone got a hold of Avril and turned her into a pop punk artist, with a
singing style change, a wardrobe change and a complete makeover so she is
really just a packaged product.

From what I remember, someone has asked Avril if she had much input into her
music and if she had punk roots or even knew who the Sex Pistols were and
she said she had no idea who they were. Therefore, I find it hard to believe
that she would even had heard of the Rubinoos or one of their songs. I think
it is most likely that anyone who has guided Avril in her new punk pop
direction may be responsible for all she has done musically.
