Well, I always thought Vin Scelsa had a lot of integrity. Still do.

And as far as the money issue, I'm quite sure that some of these guys thought about jumping ship to stations paying more money. But I think a lot of those guys stayed put at WABC, WNEW, WNBC, etc. because they believed in the stations and had loyalty towards them.

Remember that Scott Muni left WABC for the FM dial, because he wasn't comfortable playing the then, so-called "teen music." I'm sure he made more money at WABC.
