Peter,
I'm very sorry to hear about your trouble. According to Wikipedia (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedbugs) bedbugs may live for a year or up to
18 months without feeding. Something to keep in mind, as I doubt they need a
lot of oxygen to survive, so not sure the airtight bags for 6 months would
be sufficient, if indeed there were any bugs among the albums.
