Sondre's had it bad for IMPERIAL BEDROOM-era EC for a while now: he
covered "Human Hands" on his last album, DUPER SESSIONS. (Along with
a terrific version of Prefab Sprout's "Nightingales," redeeming a fine
song from the crap production of its original form.) I'm overall
quite impressed with this sort of musical reinvention he's pulled off
with the last couple albums, going into a semi-jazzy Costello/Sprouts
direction from the more standard-issue pop of his earlier work.
