I would recommend the Field Mice (ultimately the flagship band)Orchids (who recently got back together for a short tour and full new cd ) ,Heavenly ( sugary sweet punkpop from ex Talulah Gosh), Secret Shine (great shoegaze band who also recently came back together for some ep releases and a few live dates),Another Sunny Day/Harvey Williams,Brighter,Sugargliders (who somewhat resemble the Flight of the Conchords and are now the Steinbecks with Tali White of Lucksmiths),Sea Urchins (some offkey notes but one of my favorite Sarah bands), the Golden Dawn and Eternal (another shoegaze band who became Slowdive and are now Mojave3 ) for starters.
