Just listened to some of my "Have A Nice Day!" CDs, and came across
"Ariel" by Dean Friedman, a rare blast from the distant past. I'm
digging it now, as I once did - quirky, funny, makes me feel kinda warm
and fuzzy in a way... does anyone know anything more about this guy and
his music? I see on Amazon and iTunes that he's still releasing music,
and his Best Of collection is selling for $60+, must be a rarity...
Also, grooved to "NRBQ in Yankee Stadium" the other day, what a killer
LP! I Love Her She Loves Me, Get Rhythm, That's Neat That's Nice...
wall to wall great tracks!
Now, a Friedman / NRBQ double bill, that would be something...
