The deluxe edition was definitely sent to retail outlets. A friend of mine
bought his at Best Buy, and I personally saw it at two Best Buys in my local
area.

I think Rhino only manufactured 5000 copies and it's likely they weren't
even sent to retail outlets -- perhaps just online accounts, like Amazon,
though I can't be sure. I have one -- the booklet is very nice.
